Release
v4.2.0
peacockThirty owls for every mood, and a rare golden owl for each mood that a project sees at most twice a year.
Highlights
- 01
Owls that show what Argus does
Six themed scenes per mood bring each header to thirty variations: pipelines and the dependency tree, advisories and fixes, patching and pinning, your project's own tests, packages and the supply chain, and the catalogue of versions.
- 02
The golden owl
Each mood has a rare golden owl with a peacock friend, a nod to Argus Panoptes, whose hundred eyes were set in the peacock's tail. It says under its caption that it is a rare golden owl, just for luck, and changes nothing. A project sees each mood's golden owl at most twice a year. Argus checks GitLab before showing one, and if it can't read the project's history the owl stays ordinary.
Full notes
Added
- Six themed mood header variations for each of the six moods (180 in all).
- The golden owl: one per mood, each shown at most twice a year per project, checked against the project's GitLab history, with a note saying it changes nothing.
Changed
- When Argus edits a <dependencyManagement> section, runs of blank lines inside it (left by releases before 3.8.0 when they removed an override) shrink to one. Nothing else in the POM is reformatted.
